Dedicated bandwidth
The primary goal of fg microtec's new QoSM is to provide priority management, transport (or bandwidth) control, and improved loss characteristics required for real-time and interactive applications. The QoSM ensures that priority for one or more application data flow does not result in the failure of other data flows. In addition, fg microtec's PFCTM (Predictive Flow Control) technology can be used to further optimise and improve the flow control.
The QoSM can be embedded into any 2.5G, EDGE or UMTS handset design and delivers the best possible quality, coordination and performance with reduced data transmission times under any network condition and without any server interaction.
